Providing Individual, Couples and Family Therapy

Dr. Sarah Abdel-Wahab, LCP completed her Doctorate  in Clinical Psychology at the California School of Professional  Psychology at Alliant International University. She specializes in  child, family, and couples therapy. She has worked at the Los Angeles  Ronald McDonald House working with individuals, couples and families in  crisis. 

Dr. Sarah, LCP has worked as a psychologist in a school setting when she lived in California.  She facilitates parenting and teacher workshops and has experience  working collaboratively with teachers, pediatricians and psychiatrists.  

 Dr. A. Wahab has also worked as Clinical Director at a substance use  disorder treatment center. She has experience providing education and  clinical supervision to doctoral students.

Dr. A. Wahab works from a family systems  perspective, using a differentiation approach, with children, adults,  couples and families.  She uses a strength-based approach to help  individuals identify their personal goals, achieve self-awareness, and  make important changes. She also incorporates Acceptance and Commitment  therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and education. Dr. Abdel-Wahab is licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Clinical  Psychologist.

In addition to meeting with clients in person at my office in Vienna, VA, I am offering confidential online video conference appointments. Online sessions are held from the safety of your own home  at a time that is convenient for you through a HIPAA compliant easy scheduling platform.
